How to Make StrawBerry Tres Leches Cake at home
Ingredients:
Strawberry sauce:
Chopped strawberries 300g
Sugar 1/3 cup
3-4 drops red food coloring (optional)
Tres Leches Milk:
Pakola whole milk 2 cups
½ cup condensed milk
½ cup cream
Strawberry essence ½ teaspoon
Strawberry cookie:
Egg white 6 room temperature
Bareek Cheeni (poured sugar) ¼ cup
1 & ½ cup all purpose flour
baking powder ½ tsp
salt ½ tsp
½ cup powdered sugar
Semolina 2 tablespoons
Egg yolk 6 room temperature
Pakola whole milk ½ cup room temperature
½ cup cooking oil
vanilla essence ½ teaspoon
Red food coloring 2-3 drops
cooking oil 1 teaspoon
Icing:
Cream 300ml
powdered sugar 1/3 cup
Strawberry essence ½ teaspoon
Directions:
Prepare the Strawberry Sauce:
Put strawberries and sugar in a saucepan and mix well.
Add the red food coloring, mix well and cook over medium heat, stirring.
Cook until the strawberries are soft and mash with a spoon in between.
Drain well then set aside.
Prepare the Tres Leches milk:
In a pitcher, combine the milk, condensed milk, heavy cream, prepared strawberry sauce, strawberry essence, whisk well, then set aside.
Prepare the strawberry sponge cake:
Put the egg whites in a bowl and beat until the egg whites foam.
Gradually add the caster sugar and beat again until stiff peaks form (about 6 minutes).
Place a sieve in a bowl, add the all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt and sift well.
Add the powdered sugar, the semolina and mix well.
-Add egg yolks, milk, cooking oil, vanilla essence and beat on low speed until well blended.
Add the red food coloring and beat again.
Add the mixture to the egg white mixture and using a spatula, gently fold in the egg whites until well blended.
Grease a 7 x 11 inch pan with cooking oil, add cake batter and pat 2-3 times.
Baking:
Bake in a preheated oven at 160-170°C for 25 minutes.

Ladle cake mixture into small bowls.
Place a cooking rack in the pan, cover and preheat over medium-high heat for 15 minutes.
Place the pie shells on the cooking grate, cover and cook over medium-high heat for 25 minutes.
Take out from pan and after cool holes in the cake with wooden pick
Slowly pour the prepared Tres Leches milk over the filling holes in the hot cake and let set, then refrigerate for 4 hours or until chilled.
Prepare the frosting:
put cream in bowl and beat
Add powdered sugar, strawberry essence and beat well until soft peaks form (7-8 minutes).
Put the prepared icing on the cake and spread with the spatula. Decorate the cake with strawberries, then slice and serve!
