Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Preparation:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, bread crumbs, milk, eggs, onion, garlic, salt, and black pepper. Mix well with your hands or a spoon until all ingredients are well incorporated.Transfer the mixture to a 9x5-inch loaf pan, shaping it into a loaf shape with your hands.In a small bowl, whisk together the ketchup, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce. Spread the mixture evenly over the top of the meatloaf.Bake the meatloaf for 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160 degrees Fahrenheit. Let the meatloaf rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving.

You can also customize this recipe by adding other ingredients, such as diced bell peppers, mushrooms, or shredded cheese.
