How to Prepared Cheesy Beef Burritos Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup salsa
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 8 large flour tortillas
- Optional toppings: sour cream, avocado, cilantro
How to Prepared
- In a large skillet, cook ground beef over medium-high heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
- Add diced onion, red bell pepper, and minced garlic to the skillet and cook until vegetables are softened.
- Stir in chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
- Stir in salsa and cook until heated through.
- Turn off the heat and stir in shredded cheese until melted.
- Lay out flour tortillas on a flat surface. Divide the beef mixture evenly among the tortillas, placing it in the center of each one.
- Roll up the tortillas, tucking in the sides as you go.
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Place rolled-up burritos in skillet, seam-side down, and cook until crispy and golden brown on both sides.
