How to Prepared Cheesy Beef Burritos Recipe

Ingredients:


  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 8 large flour tortillas
  • Optional toppings: sour cream, avocado, cilantro

How to Prepared

  1. In a large skillet, cook ground beef over medium-high heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  2. Add diced onion, red bell pepper, and minced garlic to the skillet and cook until vegetables are softened.
  3. Stir in chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
  4. Stir in salsa and cook until heated through.
  5. Turn off the heat and stir in shredded cheese until melted.
  6. Lay out flour tortillas on a flat surface. Divide the beef mixture evenly among the tortillas, placing it in the center of each one.
  7. Roll up the tortillas, tucking in the sides as you go.
  8. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Place rolled-up burritos in skillet, seam-side down, and cook until crispy and golden brown on both sides.
  9. Serve hot with desired toppings.
