How to Quickly Prepare Fruit Trifles at Home
Ingredients:
water as needed
Mario's Pasta colored flavored vermicelli 150g
Milk 1 & ½ liters
Sugar ¾ cup or to taste
Custard powder (vanilla) 4 tbsp or as needed
½ cup milk
ice cubes as needed
2 cups of ice
mango cubes 1 cup
apple cubes 1 cup
1 cup sliced banana
1 & ½ cup mixed fruit cocktail
Raisins 1 tbsp
Sliced pistachios 1 tbsp
Chopped almonds 1 tbsp
Assembly :
Plain cake as needed
Red jelly and green jelly cubes
Badam & Pista (almonds & pistachios) sliced
buddy buddy optional
Directions:
Add water in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
Add the vermicelli, mix well and cook for 4-5 minutes, then strain and rinse with tap water and set aside.
In a saucepan add the milk and bring to a boil.
Add the sugar, mix well and cook over low heat until the sugar has dissolved (2-3 minutes).
In a bowl add the pastry cream powder and milk and mix well.
Now add the custard cream dissolved in the boiling milk, mix well and cook over low heat until the custard cream thickens (4-5 minutes) and leave to stand for 8-10 minutes.
Place ice cubes in large bowl and place another bowl on top, add prepared custard and beat well until custard is chilled and smooth (6-8 minutes).
Add the cream and beat well until you get a smooth mass.
Add cooked vermicelli, mango, apple and banana.
In another bowl, place a strainer and strain the fruit mixture, saving the syrup for later use.
In a pudding bowl, add the fruit mixture, raisins, pistachios, almonds and mix well.
Assembly :
In a trifle bowl, add two layers of plain cake and pour in the reserved cocktail syrup.
Add prepared Lab-e-Shireen, red and green jelly, add prepared Lab-e-Shireen and garnish with almonds and pistachios, Cham Cham and serve chilled!
