 How to make Mexican Berry Flamingo Punch at home




Ingredients:


Prepare the Mexican fruit tea:


Sweet tamarind 2 pods

Cherries ½ cup or as needed

Apple seeded 1 medium

cinnamon sticks 2

Brown sugar 4 tablespoons

water 2 cups

lemon juice 2 tbsp

lemon zest 1 teaspoon


Assembly :


Pitted cherries 4-5

Directions:


Prepare the Mexican fruit tea:


Remove the sweet tamarind from its shell and set aside.

Pit the cherries with a straw.

Place cherries, apple, sweet tamarind, cinnamon sticks, brown sugar, water, lemon juice, lemon zest in a kettle, mix well and bring to a boil and cook over low heat for 4 5 minutes, then filter. Mexican fruit tea is ready!

Let cool down.


Assembly :


Place cherries in a serving glass and mash with a pestle.

Add ice cubes, prepared Mexican fruit tea 7up and stir.

Garnish with cherries, lemon slices and serve!
