How to make Beef Lasagna at Home
Ingredients:
water as needed
salt 1 tbsp
Mario's Pasta Lasagna 12-16 sheets
Prepare the white sauce:
cooking oil 1-2 tablespoons
All-purpose flour 2 & ½ tablespoons
2 cups of milk
½ cup cream
½ tsp black pepper powder
garlic powder ½ tsp
Dried oregano 1 teaspoon
Salt ½ tsp or to taste
Prepare the red sauce with ground beef:
Cooking oil 2-3 tablespoons
Chopped White Onion 1 medium
Minced garlic 1 tbsp
Minced meat 500g (lean)
Salt ½ tsp or to taste
½ tsp black pepper powder
Crushed red pepper 1 teaspoon
Dried oregano ½ tsp
tomato paste 2 tbsp
5 medium tomato passata (about 2 cups)
¼ cup of water
Chopped fresh basil leaves 10-12
Assembly :
grated cheddar cheese
Grated mozzarella cheese
Dried oregano
crushed red pepper
Chopped fresh
parsley
Directions:
In a saucepan add water, salt, mix well and bring to a boil.
Add Mario's Pasta, Lasagna and cook for 5-7 minutes, then strain and rinse with tap water and set aside.
Prepare the white sauce:
In a saucepan, add cooking oil and all-purpose flour and mix well for 30 seconds.
Add the milk, whisk well and cook for 2-3 minutes.
Turn off the heat, add the cream and whisk well.
Light the flame, add the black pepper powder, garlic powder, dried oregano and salt and mix well.
Let cool down.
Prepare the red sauce with ground beef:
In a saucepan add cooking oil, onion and garlic, mix well and sauté until translucent.
Add the ground beef and mix well until it changes color.
Add salt, black pepper powder, crushed red pepper, dried oregano, tomato paste, mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.
Add the tomato puree and mix well.
Add water and fresh basil leaves and mix well, cover and cook over low heat for 14-15 minutes, then cook over high heat until oil separates.
Assembly :
In a 9" x 9" casserole dish, add and distribute red sauce, cooked lasagna sheets, red sauce, white sauce, cheddar cheese, mozzarella, lasagna sheets, red sauce, white sauce, the cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese and lasagna place sheets, red sauce, white sauce, cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, dried oregano and crushed red pepper.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 20-25 minutes or until the cheese melts.
Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve!
