How to Make Beef Steak with Pepper Sauce at Home
Ingredients:
Black peppercorns 2 tbsp
Beef entrecote 400g (200g each)
Worcestershire sauce 1 tbsp
Salt ½ tsp or to taste
Dried thyme ½ tsp
2 tbsp cooking oil
butter 1 tablespoon
butter 2 tablespoons
Garlic crushed ½ tsp
All-purpose flour 1 tbsp
½ cup broth
Pakola whole milk 1 cup
Worcestershire sauce 2 teaspoons
Salt ½ tsp or to taste
½ tbsp cooking oil
butter ½ tbsp
½ cup yellow pepper julienne
½ cup pepper julienne
½ cup pepper julienne
½ cup sliced onion
Salt to taste
butter 1 teaspoon
Preparation:
In a skillet add the black peppercorns and dry roast until fragrant.
Let cool down.
Place the roasted black peppercorns in a mortar and pestle, crush coarsely and set aside.
In a bowl, combine the beef steak, Worcestershire sauce, salt, dried thyme, crushed black pepper (2 tsp) and mix well, cover and marinate for 30 minutes.
Heat a cast iron skillet, add cooking oil and butter and let melt.
Add the marinated beef steak and sear on both sides until cooked through (6-8 minutes per side).
Put the butter in the same pan and let it melt.
Add the garlic and mix well.
Add all-purpose flour, mix well and cook for a minute.
Add 1 tablespoon ground black pepper (reserve the rest for later use) and mix well.
Add broth, milk and whisk well.
Add the Worcestershire sauce, salt and mix well, cook until sauce thickens, stirring constantly and set aside.
In a wok add cooking oil and butter and let melt.
Add yellow bell pepper, red bell pepper, bell pepper, onion, the remaining crushed black pepper, salt and fry for a minute.
Heat the skillet, add the butter and let it melt.
Add the sautéed veggies, beef steak, and pepper sauce and serve!
