How to Cook Delicious Ginger Chicken at Home
Ingredients:
3 medium tomatoes
garlic paste 1 tbsp
Crushed green chilli 1 tbsp
lemon juice 2 & ½ tablespoons
Salt 1 tsp or to taste
chicken mix 800g
Ginger Julienne 2 inch piece
1/3 cup cooking oil
Chopped onion 1 large
coriander powder 1 tbsp
Kashmiri red chilli powder 1 tsp
Cumin seeds roasted and crushed ½ tbsp
Crushed red pepper 1 tbsp
Chaat masala 1 teaspoon
tomato ketchup 2 tbsp
½ cup whipped yogurt
Salt ½ tsp or to taste
½ cup water
Julienne ginger 1 inch piece
Sliced green peppers 2
Sliced green chili
Julienne of ginger
Directions:
Place the tomatoes in a blender bowl and puree (about 1 cup) and set aside.
Place the garlic paste, green chilli, lemon juice and salt in a bowl and mix well.
Add the chicken and mix well.
Add the ginger and mix well, cover and marinate for 30 minutes.
In a wok, add the cooking oil, marinated chicken and sear over medium-high heat until browned on all sides (6-8 minutes), transfer to a bowl and set aside.
Add the onion to the same wok and sauté until translucent.
Add tomato puree, coriander powder, Kashmiri red chilli powder, cumin, crushed red chillies, chaat masala, mix well and cook until oil separates (3-4 minutes ).
Add tomato ketchup and mix well.
Add yogurt, salt and mix well.
Add water and mix well.
Add the fried chicken and mix well, cover and cook on low for 15-20 minutes, then cook on high until the oil separates.
Add ginger and green peppers.
Garnish with green chilli, ginger
