How to Make Extra Crispy Chicken Wings at Home Quickly and Easily
Ingredients:
water (3 cups
Salt 1 tbsp or to taste
Vinegar 2 tbsp
Chicken wings with skin 1 kg
Red chili powder 1 tbsp or to taste
Salt 1 & ½ tsp. tea or to taste
garlic powder 1 teaspoon
1 & ½ tsp black pepper powder
chicken powder 1 tbsp
Dried oregano 1 teaspoon
Mustard powder 1 & ½ teaspoon
2 cups milk
lemon juice 3 tbsp
eggs 2
All purpose flour, sifted 1 & ½ cups
½ cup rice flour
cooking oil for frying
non-stick spray
Prepare the sweet and sour sauce:
Tomato ketchup 5-6 tbsp
minced garlic 1 teaspoon
salt 1 pinch
Powdered brown sugar 1 tbsp
Vinegar 2 tbsp
1 & ½ tbsp soy sauce
Directions:
In a bowl add water, salt, vinegar and mix well.
Add the chicken wings and mix well, cover and marinate for 1 hour, then drain and set aside.
In a bowl, add the red chili powder, salt, garlic powder, black pepper powder, chicken powder, dried oregano, mustard powder and mix well. The spice is ready!
Put the milk and lemon juice in a bowl and mix well, cover and let stand 5 to 10 minutes. Buttermilk is ready!
Add the eggs, ¾ portion of the prepared spices (reserve the remaining spices for later use) and whisk well.
Add the chicken wings and mix well, cover and marinate in the refrigerator for 4 hours or overnight.
Place all-purpose flour, rice flour and remaining prepared spices in a bowl and mix well.
Remove the chicken wings from the buttermilk and brush them well with the dry flour mixture and place them on a baking rack, then dip them again in the buttermilk and coat them with the dry flour mixture.
1: Air Fry
Spray both sides of the chicken wings with nonstick spray and air roast at 170°C for 20 minutes (turn the sides after 12 minutes).
2: Deep Frying
Heat the cooking oil in a wok (140°C-150°C) and fry over medium heat for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
Prepare the sweet and sour sauce:
Put the tomato ketchup, garlic, salt, brown sugar, vinegar, soy sauce in a bowl and whisk well.
Serve extra crispy chicken wings with a sweet and sour sauce!
