 How to Make Air Fried Donuts at Home



Ingredients:


Sifted all purpose flour 500g

Instant yeast 1 tbsp

¼ cup powdered sugar

salt ½ tsp

egg 1

3 tbsp cooking oil

¾ cup hot milk

vanilla essence 1 teaspoon

non-stick spray

Melted chocolate 200g

Multi Sprinkles


Directions: 



In a flour mixer, add the all-purpose flour, instant yeast, sugar, salt, egg, cooking oil, milk and vanilla essence, use the dough hook and knead until obtaining a paste (about 8 minutes).

With greased hands, knead the dough again until smooth.

Grease the dough with cooking oil, cover with cling film and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour.

Transfer the dough to a clean work surface, take a small amount of dough (60 g) and form a smooth ball, press, sprinkle with dry flour and roll out with a rolling pin.

Coat a small cookie cutter with all-purpose flour and cut from the center with a floured cookie cutter and make other donuts the same way.

Place the donuts on a baking sheet, cover with cling film and let rise again for 30-40 minutes or until doubled in size.

Grease the Air fryer basket with cooking oil.

Place donuts on top, spray with non-stick spray and air fry at 150°C for 4-5 minutes.

 Cool completely 30 minutes

Dip one side of the donuts in the melted chocolate and place on a wire rack to drain off the excess melted chocolate.

Sprinkle several vermicelli on top and let stand 8-10 minutes and serve (yields 17-18).
