How to Make Mongolian Chicken with Fried Rice
Ingredients:
Prepare the Mongolian Chicken:
Boneless Chicken Julienne 400g
Soy sauce 1 tbsp
Black pepper powder 1 tsp
Salt ½ teaspoon or to taste
Corn flour 2 tbsp
Cooking oil 3-4 tbsp
Cooking oil 1 tbsp
½ tbsp chopped ginger
½ tbsp chopped garlic
Soy sauce 2-3 tbsp
Hot sauce 1 tbsp
2 tablespoons of brown powdered sugar
Chopped red chilli ½ tsp
Black pepper powder 1 tsp
½ cup of water or as needed
Salt ½ teaspoon or to taste
Corn flour 2 tbsp
Water cup
Paprika julienne 1 medium
1/2 cup chopped green onion leaves
½ cup of water (if necessary)
Sesame oil ½ tbsp
Sesame seeds 1 tsp
Prepare the fried rice:
Cooking oil 1 tbsp
1 tbsp chopped ginger
1 tbsp chopped garlic
1/2 cup chopped white portion of the spring onion
Eggs 2
Soy sauce 2 tsp
Black pepper powder 1 tsp
½ cup carrot julienne
1/2 cup sliced peppers
1/2 cup chopped cabbage
Salt ½ teaspoon or to taste
Sesame oil 1 tsp
Rice 300g (cooked with salt)
1/2 cup chopped green onion leaves
Indications:
Prepare the Mongolian Chicken:
Put the chicken, soy sauce, black pepper powder, salt, cornmeal in a bowl and mix well, cover and marinate for 25-30 minutes.
In a wok add cooking oil and marinated chicken, mix well and cook over medium heat for 6-8 minutes, then cook over high heat for 3-4 minutes until crispy and golden brown and set aside.
Add the soy sauce and hot sauce and mix well.
Add the brown sugar and mix well.
Add the chopped red pepper and black pepper powder and mix well.
Add water and mix well.
Add the salt and mix well.
Add the water to the corn flour and beat well.
Put the melted cornstarch in a wok, mix well and cook until the sauce is thick.
Add the bell peppers, green onion leaves and mix well.
Add the water and mix well.
Add sesame oil and mix well.
Add the fried chicken and mix well.
Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Prepare the fried rice:
Cooking oil, ginger, garlic mix altogether.
Add the white part of the spring onion and mix well.
Add the beaten eggs, mix well and cook until stirred.
Add the soy sauce and mix well.and add black pepper
Add carrots, peppers, cabbage, salt, mix well and cook for 1-2 minutes.
Add sesame oil and mix well.
Add the cooked rice and mix well.
Add the green onion leaves and mix well.
Garnish with sesame seeds and spring onion leaves.
