Ingredients:


Prepare the simple cake:


2 cups all-purpose flour (250 g)

Salt ½ tsp

Baker's yeast 2 tsp

Milk cup

Instant coffee ½ tsp

Unsalted butter 200 g (room temperature)

1 cup of granulated sugar

Eggs 4 (room temperature)

Vanilla essence ½ tbsp


Preparation of the coffee butter glaze:


Sugar 2 cups

Cream 2 tbsp

Instant coffee 2 tbsp

Unsalted butter 150 g (room temperature)

Salt a pinch of salt

Vanilla essence ¼ tsp

Granulated sugar cup

Instant coffee ½ tsp

½ cup of hot water

Chopped almonds


Indications:


Prepare the simple cake:


Place the sieve in a bowl, add all-purpose flour, salt, baking powder, mix all dry ingredients, mix well and set aside.

Pour the instant coffee into the milk, stir well and set aside.

Put the butter in a bowl and beat until frothy.

Add the granulated sugar and beat again.

Add half of the dry ingredients and blend on low.

Add the milk to the brewed coffee, add the vanilla essence and mix again.

Add the remaining dry ingredients and beat on low speed until well mixed.

Butter a 9-inch pan and line it with butter paper.

Place the cake batter on a greased baking sheet and knock a few times.

Bake in for 40 mnt in 180 degree and take the cake out and let it cool.


Preparation of the coffee butter glaze:


In a spice grinder, add the sugar and grind to a powder, then sift and set aside.

Mix the cream and instant coffee in a bowl, mix well and set aside.

Put the butter in a bowl and beat until it changes color.

Gradually add the powdered sugar, season with salt and stir well.

Add the cream-coffee mixture, vanilla essence and stir well, then pour into a piping bag.

Put granulated sugar, instant coffee and hot water in a small jug, mix well and set aside.

Use a serrated knife to cut a thin layer from the top of the sponge cake, then cut one layer of cake horizontally.

Place the first cake crust on a cake plate, add coffee syrup, add coffee-buttercream glaze, almonds and spread and place on the cake crust.

Add and spread the coffee syrup and coffee butter icing and glaze the outside of the cake with the coffee butter icing.

Spread the chopped almonds on the sides of the cake.

Cool to cold.

Cut into slices of your choice and serve!
