 How to make mozzarella balls with marinara sauce




Ingredients:


Prepare the mozzarella balls:

Mozzarella 200g

All-purpose flour 1 cup or as needed

Eggs 2

1 1/2 cups Dashi breadcrumbs or as needed

1 teaspoon dried oregano

Garlic powder 1 tsp.

Dashi powder 1 tablespoon

Black pepper powder 1 tsp.

Cooking oil for frying


Make the marinara sauce:


Water as needed

Tomatoes) 4 large

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons chopped onion

1 tablespoon minced garlic

1 teaspoon minced red pepper

2 tablespoons tomato puree

Salt ½ teaspoon or to taste

Dried oregano ½ teaspoon

Dashi Powder ½ teaspoon powder

Black pepper powder ½ teaspoon

1 teaspoon sugar

1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

Chopped fresh parsley



How to Prepared:


Prepare the mozzarella balls:


Cut the mozzarella into 1-inch cubes and set aside.

Place three shallow bowls next to each other, fill the first with all-purpose flour, the second with eggs, and beat well.

In the third bowl, add the breadcrumbs, dried oregano, garlic powder, chicken powder, black pepper powder and mix well.

Roll each mozzarella cube in all-purpose flour, then roll in the beaten eggs, then in the breadcrumbs and again in the beaten eggs, roll in the breadcrumbs, then roll into a round shape and freeze for 30 minutes.

Repeat with the remaining cheese cubes until all are covered.

In a wok, heat cooking oil and fry the cheese balls over medium heat until golden brown.


Make the marinara sauce:


In a saucepan, add the water and let it heat up.

Add the tomatoes (cut slightly with the help of the knife) blanch for 5-6 minutes, then strain and remove the skin from the tomato and cut the top.

In the blender jar, add the blanched tomatoes, tomato puree and set aside.

In a wok, add olive oil, onion, garlic and sauté until the onions are transparent.

Add the chopped red pepper and mix well.

Add the tomato paste, mix well and cook for a minute.

Add the salt, dried oregano, chicken powder, black pepper powder, sugar and mix well.

Add the tomato puree, mix well and cook for 1-2 minutes, cover and simmer for 8-10 minutes.

Add the fresh parsley and mix well.

Serve the mozzarella balls with marinara sauce and garnish with fresh parsley.
