How to Make Au Gratin Potatoes at Home
Ingredients:
Cooking oil 1-2 tablespoons
Cooked and shredded chicken 200g
¼ teaspoon of cayenne powder
Salt ¼ teaspoon or to taste
½ teaspoon dried thyme
3-4 tablespoons of butter
1 tablespoon of crushed garlic
All-purpose flour 3 tablespoons
Whole milk pakola 2 & ½ cups
1 cup of chicken broth
½ tablespoon mustard paste
1 teaspoon of crushed black pepper
½ teaspoon salt or to taste
1 cup of grated cheddar cheese
Peeled potatoes 1 kg
Chopped fresh parsley
½ cup of grated mozzarella cheese
Chopped fresh parsley
How to Prepared:
In a wok add cooking oil, chicken, cayenne powder, salt, dried thyme, mix well and cook for 3-4 minutes and set aside.
In the same wok add the butter and let it melt.
Add the garlic and mix well.
Add all-purpose flour and mix well for a minute.
Add milk and beat continuously.
Add the chicken broth, mustard paste, crushed black pepper, salt, mix well and cook over medium heat until sauce is thick (4-5 minutes).
Add the cheddar cheese and mix well until the cheese has melted and set aside.
Cut the potatoes into thin slices with the help of a slicer.
Put the sliced potatoes in a greased casserole dish, add the cooked chicken, the prepared cheese sauce, fresh parsley, potato wedges, cheese sauce and cover with foil.
Bake in the oven preheated to 160 for 50-60 minutes (on a low rack).
Remove from the oven, add the mozzarella and bake in the preheated oven at 160 ° C for 10 minutes until golden brown (on the top rail).
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve!
