How to make Chicken Fried Rice at home.


Ingredients for fried rice with chicken:

700-800 grams of uncooked rice

250-260 grams of boneless chicken, strips

½ cup white portion over green onions

½ cup green part of the spring onion

1 cup of carrot and pea mix

1 cup paprika, diced

3-4 cloves of garlic, finely chopped

1 teaspoon black pepper powder

¼ teaspoon of white pepper

1 cube of chicken / chicken powder

2 pinches of turmeric

2 TBSP. milk

1 tablespoon. soy sauce

1 teaspoon of vinegar

Salt as needed

2-3 eggs

4 tbsp. Sesame / vegetables / rapeseed oil

How do you :

1. Cook the rice in the normal way. The rice should be fully cooked. Put aside

2. In a medium bowl, mix and blend the milk and turmeric. Add the egg and beat well. In a coated pan, add 2 tbsp. Oil and cook the egg mixture, cutting into small pieces while cooking. Put aside.

3. In a separate pan, add 2 tbsp. Oil and saute the garlic for a few seconds or until it changes color.

4. Now add the boneless chicken and cook for 2 minutes.

5. Next add the carrots, peas, bell pepper and the white part of the spring onion. Skip for another 2 minutes.

6. Add soy sauce, vinegar, black pepper, white pepper and cubed chicken / chicken powder. Stir to combine.

7. Add the egg mixture and pre-cooked rice and mix.

8. Finally, if necessary, check for salt and add as desired.

9. Serve hot with a side dish of your choice or Manchurian chicken.

REMARKS:

Always cook the rice 1 night before making fried chicken rice.

Use turmeric powder in eggs to avoid egg odor.

Always add salt at the end. If you add the rice at the beginning, it won't pick up any other spices.
